USA Jet questions

You just quoted a unicorn trip that happens once a year not multiple times a month. But of course you love to skew the truth and you quote the one guy at the airline that destroyed his qol for a paycheck. And boom that correlates to 100k first year.
No one local likes the job Randy they're handcuffed to it, theres a difference. You can't get a job else where when you've been fired (Amex scam) your a scab, your pilot file is ten pages deep, you ran off the end of the runway (not once, twice) and the list goes on.
No new blood coming thru the door and soon enough you won't have anyone left to fly the jets.
I will get tremendous satisfaction when you guys fly your last trip.

Randy, I gotta give you credit for your work as a trainer and recruiter.
You guys hired me in 2000 after I walked off the job at ACA as an ALPA member in good standing but getting seat locked with no pay protection. I enjoyed the interview, was excited by the idea of bigger equipment, and liked the people I met but after weeks of back and forth negotiations in which you had to play company lawyer, it became apparent that JUS wasn't gonna let me line item veto a few ridiculous covenants in your training contract. Over a triviality you lost me as an employee and I lost the experience of flying jets and eventually just walked out of aviation after 9/11. After the class started and I wouldn't sign I bad-mouthed you on an aviation forum, you knew it was me and engaged me on it and we settled it with civility. I appreciate that your company has someone like you who, for whatever reason, is able to continue to recruit for many years at a fairly significant disadvantage and keep at the job with persistence and what seems like a little style. Many people in your role are not good at their jobs, many aren't even pilots.
One can only assume you're getting compensated far above line pilot pay for what you are doing, and I think you should be. Funny thing is, everyone in my new hire class that signed the contract did training, a couple flights out of IOE, then got furloughed and the contract was cancelled. Your company must be run by a bunch of lawyers because after saying how much you liked me and how I should be a direct-hire captain, you wouldn't deal fairly with me on a contract you didn't even care about when push came to shove.

Usa Jet Current Pilots
Was curious if any current or recent pilots flying for USA Jet would be willing to communicate privately on their experience with usa jet.
Mostly curious in reality of schedule and hard days off.
As well as getting some info from the employee side.
Thanks.

I, too, would also be interested in talking with people about USA Jets. I might be a bit crazy, but I would love the opportunity to fly a DC 9. I like old school aircraft. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thank you much.

When I was getting back into flying after flying after a long time away, Randy reached out to me. YIP wasn't a workable base for me but I really appreciated his offer. He strikes me as someone I'd enjoy working for and the pay there isn't bad. Worth checking out.
