2019 has been very busy for me. We’re supposed to be getting a 727 parts plane. Not much else new. Hiring continues unabated.

Be careful coming here. They're furloughing in Q3 of 2019:

QOL is depends on where you live and depends on fleet. Falcons get 10 days or so off a month and are extremely tired airframes. DC9 is 14 off a month. Lots of long duty days with not so much flying, its not a time building job. Plan on 250 hours a year. Pay is based on home many trips you fly per month, so expect bigger pay checks in the fall and almost nothing in the spring. Falcon fo pay is 35-45k a year dc9 is 50-70k a year depending on how busy they are. They like to fly you on days off aswell, so there is extra coin to be had but at a price.
I highly recommend moving to Detroit for it to work out in the long run.

I saw on a Facebook group that USA jet bought 3 or 4 retired Delta MD-88s. Is this for growth or DC-9 replacements?

Did USA Jet get sold or bought out? I clicked the link for them under airline profiles and it took me to "Ascent Global Logistics". They show a Belleville MI address but nothing mentioning USA jets or even aviation related hiring on their careers page.

30 mins from YIP would be better.....Several of their pilots are over on PPW if you have specific questions.

What is PPW?

From wiki:
“USA Jet Airlines is a division of Ascent Global Logistics (former Active Aero Group), owned by Roadrunner Transportation Systems,”

just some quick Google research shows that this is factual, however it does not answer the question as to whether or not USA jet has been sold off to another company, or if Ascent is restructuring the USA Jet website, or...?

I too am interested to know what’s happening over there.

As they tend to get “first call” for adhoc automotive industry flights it would be interesting to know what’s happening
