As of right now the 777 doesn't have any TDY, ie: Madrid/Bolivia, so if you get assigned to that fleet you should be safe for the time being. On the 767 side, you'll most likely go the Madrid for the 90 day TDY as soon as you are done with IOE and the group that is there finishes their 90 days.
That being said, the 767 has far better trips in my opinion, and I don't think many will challenge me on that.
On a non TDY schedule we're on the hook for 18 days a month. It's usually done in one or two blocks of work days. 12 or 13 days off a month depending on if it's a 30 or 31 day month. They can hold you out for four extra days involuntarily, but it's only happened to me once in over 3 years.
People on these forums like to do a lot of Omni bashing, but there are a bunch if guys here that really enjoy their jobs.. Me being one of them. If you want to work at Omni and you can deal with the schedule, they will want to hire you.

This is geared towards my fellow regional pilots, as I'm at the regionals on an RJ. I recently managed to speak to one of the above mentioned gentleman. His advice is to stay 121 (the corporate guys aren't working out very well in training), upgrade when possible, keep building jet time and every 3-6 months send in an updated resume. They're wanting to hire all the North American and World guys.... as they have so much experience that they could be Captains at Omni if the contract allowed it. When they do start hiring us regional guys I doubt it will matter if you have time on either props or jets. I suspect that it will be awhile before any regional guys get hired, but do as I do and keep applying if you want to go there.

I had a few contacts at my present employer that knew the CP there and I sent in my resume, he replied back pretty quickly and said i met minimums . He said he would like to get me in for an interview in July for the next round. Guess we will see what happens......
