Swift air

Purely an educated guess, but the later. Most 121 Supplemental carriers run very lean in the office. This means that often they grab from the top of the pile of resumes that just came in. I'd advise that you update often when applying and don't expect much, if any reply.

Not a rumor, Xtra is in the process of being taken over ala Eastern, Swift Air taking 7 planes plus contracts.
The 10 737 MAX's were ordered by Eastern for delivery starting in 2020, I guess Swift could take delivery or sell the positions.

Announcement was made that Swift is acquiring Xtra airways assets. Much like the Eastern deal acquiring 2 NGs and 4 -400s and Xtras flying contracts. I am sure they will probably allow the xtra pilots to interview for positions at Swift, much like eastern.
None of those MRJ or Max orders have anything to do with Swift. Those were attached to the Eastern certificate which Swift does not own.
2 upgrades finishing up this week. 15 upgrades slated for April.
If we haven’t got to your resume please keep updating it and resending to us. Until we can get airline apps or something similar it’s super easy for them to get lost in the stack.
Next new Hire class is March 26th. Looking to make it a big class.
Company looking to create a pathway program to a major. Details yet to be released by management.
Bases are still IWA, STL, CLE, MIA. In that order from senior to junior.
767 program awaiting FAA approval.
Flying in Europe starting in late spring with 4 acft. Crews will be allowed to bid for the TDY out in Europe. Bonuses for doing it are in the works. I believe they want to shoot for 30on 30 off.

I’m not sure it’s that simple, the Eastern certificate would have nothing to do with an aircraft order.
The takeover was an “asset and customer transaction” Vincent Viola who owns(ed) VVDC Investments which controlled 60% of Eastern Airlines is now a minority owner of Swift Air. The 737 MAX order has not been canceled so is still an asset. Obviously this does not mean that Swift will take delivery of 10 MAX’s starting in 2020 but it is a possibility.
