Was it solely a 737 CL type before and then a differences course? Are new hires being typed with a 737 NG rating?

Can potential new hires expect to fly the NG at all? Are the classics EFIS equipped? (RNAV, RVSM, etc)

thank you

Every 737 is the same type. We train in the classic and do NG differences. We have 4 NGs now. Only 5 classics are EFIS equipped everything else is steam gauge from US air.

They are hiring street captains and not promoting F.O.s who are qualified. So if you are hired as a captain its right away. If you are hired as an F.O. who knows but right now it probably will be quick. Less than a year.

Default Who's on first

We just (Today Monday May 7th) acquired another airline. Management is hush hush right now.

Does anyone know who it is?

XTRA? They're already getting most of XTRA's planes.

A World Atlantic Airways plane is currently airborne with a SWQ callsign so that may be the next acquisition.

Has there been any talks of upping that pay scale? Or any posting about what the 767 pay will be?

They’re probably doing sub flying for Swift. We’ve done sub flying for them in MIA and we use the Doral call sign.
