Negotiation Session ended today with the company seeking more concessions this week.
Lawsuits against the pilots are still ongoing.
A crew member is still on suspension for ASKING for coffee.
Atlas lost its Africa flying over a month ago.
It became public today that SonAir contract is ending in March.
Atlas notified Teamsters that they are going to be subcontracting out even more flying to our competitors like Kalitta, Western Global, Omni etc. etc. etc.
Pilots are quitting to go elsewhere as fast as possible because it is a **** show here
Company continues to sucker pilots into coming to Atlas.
The above are all FACTS.
Now for an opinion......two or three more lost contracts and Atlas could be laying off employees.

And therein lies the problem!
Pilots coming into established jobs that would fly for less than the contractually published rates or even within sight of realistically appropriate rates. At what point would a self respecting pilot refuse to do a job? 747 captain for $100k a year? $80K a year? $60??
I understand the concept of using Atlas as a stepping stone, but there are a lot of pilots that are stuck there, for whatever reason, that are carrying that stone on their backs. The flow of the in-and-out crowd do nothing but support the company in their argument that Atlas pilots are adequately compensated.

Yes... People would do that but that isn't reality. Even in your scenario, I'd do it, but as soon as UPS or FedEx called I'd leave because even that wouldn't be competitive. By the time you'd see that kind of money at Atlas you'd have already done severe damage to yourself financially.

Can any Atlas 76 guys out there give me an idea on how the rotation works? I know it's usually an 8/6 rotation starting out of CVG but, what day of the week do you start and if you’re commuting instead of company paid travel, what time before your flight are you expected to be in position? Do you bid for schedules quarterly monthly?

You asked about the same question in January and nothing has changed. Looking at the March CVG 76 FO bid pack there are lines that start on Monday. There are line that start on Tuesday. There are lines that start on Wednesday. There are lines that start on Thursday. There are lines that start on Friday. There are lines that start on Saturday. There are lines that start on Sunday. There are lines were you do all your flying in one block of days. There are lines where you do your flying for the month in two blocks of days. There are line where you do your flying for the month in three blocks of days. If you travel on your own you have to be able to sign in 1+30 before the flight. And you have to certify you are fit for duty even though it is a cargo operation. Woe be unto you if you don't make it. We have no commuter clause. We still bid monthly but if you get a two month line you won't bid the second month.
