That depends on your definition of holding out. But basically both sides need to do something about it... there's no absolute solution.
Then again all my info about the other stuff being closed out could be wrong. Lots of bad intel floating around and about (even from other 1224 parties).

I think both sides need to negotiate health care and come to an agreement on it. Which is what I think you’re saying?!

To anyone that has been paying attention, it is obvious to notice that committee/union has dug into its position and will not move. Regardless of what some claim on this forum, the majority of the pilot group is behind it. From that standpoint, one can conclude that a weak contract at Omni this time around will not pass. Also why this offer will not be presented for a vote. And yes it might be a while.

Also, the pilot group is in favor of the "dug in" union position on healthcare?
Just trying to understand what the general consensus is with regard to negotiations and the potential new TA.
Some sources are saying the pilots would vote it in, others saying they wouldn't.
Some sources say it's close to being voted on, others say it won't happen any time soon.
Just curious why such conflicting information.

So you're of the opinion that most pilots at Omni would not vote this through if presented to the pilot group?
Also, the pilot group is in favor of the "dug in" union position on healthcare?

Anyway, to the observers... do you now get a clearer picture of why such conflicting info is out there?
