I too just sent an email to the CEO.

I told him that I am excited about his fabulous offer and can't wait till the Union allows us to vote.

Everyone should email the CEO just like the Union said.

Everyone should also email our Exco. By all accounts, he appears directly responsible for depriving the Omni pilots the opportunity to vote on matters that greatly impact their every day lives and that of their families.
This hold affair with 1224 is rapidly turning into nothing more than an ordinary charade.
Perhaps the time has come for the pilots to take matters into our own hands, by whatever legal recourses are available to us. Enough is enough.

Yes, because that will expedite the process...

You seem quite out of touch.

Respectfully.

Crippen can't do anything to change the representation and would violate a very tall stack of federal laws if he tried...which he won't.

The pilots, however, could. All it would take would be to navigate a months-to-years long legal and bureaucratic labyrinth fraught with traps, pitfalls and people who would be loath to have their rice bowls upset by a bunch of upity whiners who have forgotten that they are here to serve the union.

Good luck with that.

The result of the FA vote today could potentially provide the opening for the company to complete this sooner rather than later. Some of these "hot button issues" the union has invented in the last few weeks are, however, a lack of being in touch or a charade. Senior teamsters leadership in 1224 would be the ones to contact rather than trying to decertify so early. If 1224 can't get it's act together the lack of trust will only grow.

It’s quite obvious you have two pilots groups... one that can think for themselves and can make an educated decision on whether the company offer is acceptable and the other group that will follow the union into an oncoming train just because the union said so. It’s true ulterior motives are coming from the top and the Exco and his minions don’t have the balls to stand up against the resistance. So many unanswered questions and the best the union has is to email the CEO with the slogan “The union speaks for me”. Well the union doesn’t speak for many of us.

It is the beginning of a new month.

Our Union has successfully transferred another 1.5 million dollars from the pilots to the company.

The Union should get another offer from the company worth another 1.2 million any day now.

The company has it's playbook that its following to a tee. And they must know that attrition has only slowed down due to the time of year. I expect it to accelerate after the 1st of the year. Just saying.

Appears that our Exco chairman will be in Atlanta for Training on the 6th and 7th. Might need a talking to.
