Take home
Hey guys, what are new hires seeing for take home on there training pay checks? Also once they hold a line?
I know taxes are different per state, just trying to figure it all out.
I assume, 2500-2800?
thanks
J

Training was $1200 a paycheck. Out of training you'll see slightly more (say $1500).
You tend to credit slightly more on reserve because you're on duty more days and crediting block or better many days. This is assuming you're only doing the minimum and not picking up anything.

The $55/hr kicks in 12 month after passing IOE, correct?
Factoring in sign on bonus (split over 16 month period with 30% deducted for taxes), first year pay should be close to the year 2 pay @ 55/hr rate correct? Roughly 2800-3000 take home a month first 14-15 month, then start @ 55/hr.
What about rough first year CA take home pay (without 10k bonus factored in)?

Dash CA pay starts at 1 year after IOE completion.
We pay $36.91 per hour. Training is paid 4 hours per day. Guarantee is 75 hours a month. If you are in training 19 days or more a month, you will break guarantee.
Per Diem is $1.80 an hour. So for a 24 hour day, you would make $43.2 a day. You are considered away from domicile when in initial training.
5 days a work week, 4 weeks a month would pay out $3816.8.
You can take whatever taxes or insurance costs out of that number that you want.
$10k is paid out over 2 years. It's $1,300 a quarter.
It's all on the APC website. I'm not going to run the numbers for you.
