I've ran into a pilot that has been removed from the CPP program and know of two others. Seems they are now removing pilots from the CPP for infractions.

How serious or how minor of infractions?

The one I talked with is a known management troublemaker. He is constantly poking management in the eye when the contract is silent about something. Love the guy and a good pilot, but I don't have to ride herd on him as the Chief Pilot/Assistant Chief Pilot.

The one I heard of was because they didn't send in a copy of their updated pilot certificate to the company in a timely manner. They received it, forgot to send it in, got the email reminder to send it in (before the temp expired), sent in a copy, and got a letter in his file for not sending it in as soon as they received it.

Seems getting a letter in your file will now get you disinvited from the CPP.

I've also heard that they are going to start cracking down on the CPP. Our pilots are doing well in training, but I hear some of the long term guys elsewhere are having training problems at United (sit on one airframe for the last 10+ years as a CA and now need to learn another airframe and become a FO again). Also, problem children have moved on via the CPP and are now making a name at United.
