My window limitation? Lol, you did just clue me in that you’re a complete d!ldo. So, I’m glad we got that part cleared up. If it’s in his packet, then he should know it right? I could give 2 shats what you needed to know at your regional airline(s). We had to know it as a limitation (which was 140 knts if memory serves me). And apparently so does Commutair. You wanna keep going? Or you good?

Back to the new hire class...
Guys,
Can anyone provide a picture of the training footprint? I was told in Cleveland that class in IAD would be 5 weeks long. I’m sure that is both Indoc and systems.
Do we get any breaks? Time off between indoc/systems/sit?
How long is the sim training? Only info I could get was it is 13 sims. Not sure how long that takes.
All information would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Awacs

I was hired in mid-November and just finished IOE. Call it four months start to finish.
But of course I had several delays:
I would expect recent hires to go nearly straight through with probably a 12 week footprint.
But of course I had several delays:
- 4-5 days off each for Thanksgiving and Xmas (N/A for someone starting now)
- 7 days between systems/oral and sims (mostly due to availability in CVG where I wanted to go). Several in my class got HOU and had little to no delay.
- 3 weeks delay to start of observation and IOE related to the gubmint shutdown and shortage of LCAs (since largely remedied)
- Another week between my second and third (final) IOE trip because my first IOE instructor got the call from FedEx and they had to juggle the sched.
I would expect recent hires to go nearly straight through with probably a 12 week footprint.

Very helpful really appreciate it!
I have an interview scheduled a few weeks from now and am very excited. Currently flying 135.
How soon can I get a class date if I get a CJO?
Also, what books should I have at my side for Skype? I’m going to order “Turbine Pilot Flight Manual” and “Everything Explained for the PP”. Of course I’ll review Jepp plates closely.
Anything else? I’ve glanced at the AI gouge, but want to be as prepared as possible!
Thanks guys

Be ready to talk systems, brief jepp plates, and talk HR in the interview. Systems on the current airplane you fly.
