On the contrary, this is the perfect thread. This is the perfect example of how the CPP rules aren’t being established and governed by United. The CPP is different at each carrier because the regionals are manipulating the CPP to suit the needs of each regional. This XJT example is perfect for this thread. C5 has manipulated the CPP rules as they see fit. XJT is doing the same. Wake up folks! The CPP is a real joke. Each regional is just making up the rules as they see fit.

While XJT is twisting their sick policies - CommutAir is also doing the same thing. If you are sick during a holiday - even with a doctors note - that kicks you out of the CPP. Call in sick on reserve after receiving an assignment - that kicks you out too.

Thank you to the XJT MEC for sharing this and letting the rest of the regionals know that United is NOT controlling the CPP.

Not the wrong thread. The CPP is a failure on every property. You are one of the few who have made it, so you don’t understand.

Fair enough. I see your point, and will bow out. For quite a few of us, I think the CPP is the only reason we even got the chance. That perspective is most likely making me biased against your point of view. Good luck to all.

It's good it worked out for YOU. How many of your breathern has it?

Not flaming you, but but the whole program is a joke.

OF COURSE those that benefited will think it's the best thing ever.

Meanwhile, A LOT of great people we're turned down, just because...

I said I was bowing out.....but I will respond to this statement by saying I don’t disagree that many seemingly good people were turned down. For all those who think they have a better chance without it, I hope they’re right. It would appear to me that things are trending that way.

I’ve RARELY disagreed with your comments over the years, but I’m also not as upset about it as you are.

I'm only upset because I saw so many good people get turned down that shouldn't have.

I just consider myself lucky.

And as mentioned, OF COURSE you're not as upset as I am. It worked out for you.

Again, not biased against you, but...

Got a source, or did you just make that up?
