When was the last time a pilot was released to go to UAL on the CPP?

Default C5 CPP is a joke

I got a buddy over there who thought he was finished in March/April. Now it looks like maybe October or November. Maybe. It could be 2020.

They promised everyone they would go as soon as they got their time. Now they’re sending 1 per month.

They have a half dozen people waiting and the pool keeps growing.

Don’t go there for the CPP. By this time next year they’ll be so short or captains they’ll be sending 1 per quarter.

Can one still apply off-the-street after having signed up for the CPP?

Yes. But I only know of one, personally, that actually got it. I have heard of another person as well but not personally verified.

Both were military pilots, but not just any ole' military pilots.

I'm asking because I've heard NOBODY is being released for the cpp from C5. Wanted to know if that was the truth. And if so for how long

Have you heard this from a source outside this forum?

From a current C5 pilot. That unless you already had a class assigned then the program was for all intense and purposes was on hold. Along with pilots being able to have their 2nd chance on the Hogan
