I don’t. I left Xjet 8/2019 for UA. Lots of my buddies are still out of work or starting over at C5. Wrote many a letter of recommendation for my former IOE/UOE students

When is the current contract up? Are the current pay rates here for the foreseeable future or is there a chance they may increase in the near future.

In negotiations now. Contract has been amendable since Sep 2019.

Pay and work rules better drastically improve (close to what Republic and Endeavor have IMHO) if the company has any hope of getting anyone to come and stay now that several other regionals are hiring like crazy. Of all the CFI's I know as well as a few 135 guys, they ALL are going to Republic. Its not 2020 anymore!

There's a reason they took them down, probably cause they're the worst in the industry (in contention with Mesa). FO tops out around 45/46. And CA 3-5 year is mid to low 70's from what I can remember.

Also, the Pay will not increase until a new contract or LOA agreement occurs. The contract is now amendable (past its expiration) so no new rates will occur until there is an agreement from the company and union.

It's more than just the pay that makes C5 undesirable! While the pay rates are published online, pilots and flight attendants don't get to experience the full suckiness of the company until they actually get online. The work rules are just flat out ridiculous. Reserves sit airport reserve every single day (8 hour sit/4 hours pay), because the company can't figure out how to efficiently use them. The contract has loop holes so wide you could fly an airplane through them. And the company knows and exploits those loopholes every single day. Maybe the worst part in the whole mess is that the MEC lets the company get away violating the contract on a daily basis. To say they are weak and ineffective would be an understatement. Maybe things will change as more people with previous 121 experience are eligible to vote on the upcoming contract. The previous pilot group sold out and ratified a very sub standard contract (pay and work rules) years ago to get the jets on property. But then again, judging by the pace of contract negotiations, 145s and C5 itself may be gone by the time there is anything to vote on!
