Highly unlikely, it takes quite a bit of time to add a new airplane to a certificate. Just look at AW, they announced adding CRJ700 and 900 to their certificate years ago and i still don't think they fly any of them.

It’s getting added to the ops specs and negotiations with United are going very well, first one on property by next year. MEC is meeting to negotiate 175 pay rates as well this week

JaLo is as incompetent as they come. He still thinks we are flying the Dash. No way that idiot is part of a 170 integration.

What’s the worst that could come from them being involved with a new fleet integration?

Well….if the one who controls the SOP’s and flight manuals can’t fly a jet and does not take feedback or listen to anyone, it creates problems on the line. And, Director Busta Checkride listens to no pilot.

It’s actually Director Busta Linecheck. But you are correct, JLo listens to no one.
There is also CP Busta Initial (more than once) & Upgrade as well.

But would there be as many self-restrictions on the new fleet type flying as there are on 145 flying?

Looks like initial planning to add E-175, look at it as a recruiting tool. At least 2-? Years out.

good luck!

Small correction to your statement. C5 is looking at flying United's 175.

How many 175's does Mesa own?
