Maybe they can become part of the 40 pilots to go to United in 2017 if they try again & meet the prerequisites.
Yes. They can try again in one year. Same as any other United try and fail.

So if we are on the dash already I should expect reserve during the 2.5 weeks my schedule is empty? 😁 I love reserve I can't wait!

I did hear about the 145 vacancies. Does it appear there are enough on the C5 seniority list to upgrade? Does it look like enough qualified pilots will stay vs. take the next step?

Also, if a newhire qualifies for upgrade in indoc, do they still qualify for the signing bonuses?

Thanks in advance.

What sining bonus are you referring to? The upto 15000$ for ATP and qualifying hours are for making it into Commutair. Unless theres one for upgrades, you get one as an upgrade. Currently in the upgrade class as a Feb hire.

I meant the $15,000.00 ATP + qualifying hours. Thanks!

Also congratulations on your upgrade! Are you IAD or EWR-based? Turboprop or jet?

It's a total of $15,000 for the ATP and the previous flight hours. You will get a check 2 days before you start training. Upgrade has nothing to do with the $15,000.

There appears to be a relatively small group of Pre-January 2016 hire FOs that haven't upgraded yet. As we continue to grow the ERJ fleet, most junior CA will continue to go junior. If you're a new hire and have the requisite upgrade flight time, you will be upgrading quickly.

That's 18 more upgrades available for the Jet for December!!!! Highly recommend folks with 1,000 hours part 121 SIC make the jump to CommutAir. Get a $15,000 bonus and move directly to the left seat at $63.95/HR.
