sorry you failed out. Looks like you found a good home at xjt. They have a very good training program, but again, c5 is not terrible. I’m not saying it’s the best, by far, but definitely suitable. Not everyone is gonna make it, like in your case.

nah.... When people are on track for a PRIA they get recommended they move on. The dont just quit before their checkride. You are implying that these individuals are so self aware that they realise they wont pass.....and that its the instructors failings. Nope..... They get a tap on the shoulder and a gentle suggestion that it aint gonna work.

Dont lump it on the hard working instructors.

I must be living under a rock because I found their training to be excellent. Systems Instructors would meet us at hotel some evenings and review anything we were struggling with.

To answer the OP and thread Bumper:

I would absolutely recommend coming here. It is a regional and has regional short comings but it’s a small company I’ve been happy to be at.

The training here has also been good in my experience and observation. They put in extra effort to help and if you try and have a good attitude, they bend over backwards to try and accommodate.

I don't recall anyone getting cut who didn't deserve it. I think they spend too much time with some people who clearly aren't up to the task.

PLENTY of opportunity for pickup for captains and DEC. Last email I saw I believe most of month was 300% for captains for pickup.

As a DEC I have spent 2.25 months on reserve and flown at least 200 hours. In those 2.25 months I have only had 2 days of reserve I didnt fly. Next month my line is over 90 hours credit with people who bid min credit getting over 85 hours of credit. You will work and make more.

I cant speak for others happiness but I am for sure. Being flown a lot on reserve to me is way better than sitting. Getting a line after 2 months is amazing. Many in this industry couldn't imagine such a short time on reserve. But to me what really makes commutair great are the people who work here.
