Anyone know the date of hire of the number 1 pilot at compass. Im just curious how senior the compass pilot group is.

Number 1 wouldn't tell you much because the number 1 has been here since the airline started, basically, and declined the flow. There's very few people on the list like that though and most don't bid anyway (they just instruct in MSP.) If you looked at the seniority list though by %, it would be something like 60% of the airline has been here less than 2 years, 35% here 2-4 years, 5% here 4+ years up to what, 10 or 11 (less than 1%). But yeah, I think being here 4 or 5 years puts you in the top 5% or at least 10% for sure. It's a very very junior pilot group. After only about 3 years I'm probably at 29% or so. Those are rough numbers from the top of my head but pretty close to accurate I think. Too lazy to actually go look.

There's no way to answer that. We are not stockholders, and we have absolutely no input into the decisions this company makes. So any business dealings will be kept behind the scenes until it's too late. If you're concerned about longevity there are airlines like Skywest and the wholly owneds that probably have a better outlook in the 2020's.

No. People here get bored and like making up rumors in order to troll people. There's always a chance that any regional will be bought by any other regional. If Republic did buy us, they would more than likely keep us on a separate certificate for a looooong time.
