Question for a Compass pilot
 

I have a buddy who has been flying SIC in Citations for a few years. He's not on these forums so I'm asking a few questions for him.

1. How is class seniority determined?
2. Guess on time to get LAX domicile?
3. Does small jet 135 time count for anything toward upgrade quals?

1. Goes by age starting at the oldest.
2. Seems to be pretty instant for all bases, bottom 4 of last base award were a combo of all bases.
3. I think it's possible, it's listed in the FARs and a google search should show if it's possible. However the point is moot because our upgrade is currently 2 and a half years +/- a few months depending how many we put in class over the summer and fall, and we're upgrading in seniority order with people having over 1000 121 SIC. SO he'll get the 1000 121 SIC before he can upgrade.

Thanks guys. I've passed along the information to him. He's a great guy who will be a good addition to the pilot group if heads that way. His biggest concern is getting LAX as he doesn't want to commute for any length of time.
