All 46 in our CRJ class initially got DTW. But while we were still in training, another cycle passed. I got ORD along with 12 or so others. A couple got PSP and 3 or 4 got FAT. Because I live in Cali, FAT is my long term goal and I expect/hope to see it very soon. My LOE will be out of SFO and carries through late May, so maybe I’ll have ORD for only June. Fingers crossed.
There is a lot of movement. They plan to ramp the CRJ class size from 50 to 70 at 2 classes/month.

Congrats. After reading your initial post and your journey maybe you can recap the steps you took? And how you became instrument proficient to the level necessary for 121. I know many of us would benefit from your posting!

Hi and sorry for my slow response to your inquiry. Basically, the steps I took are outlined in the first post of this thread. I’m not really sure if this topic deserves to stay in the Compass forum but if no one objects, I’d be happy to expand on any step you’d like. In retrospect, it’s hard to believe that less than a year ago I was busting hump to make the transition. And now I’m 250 hours into being a CRJ FO. Life is good! But what I’m most thankful for is that I drive 2 hours to work and I only spent half a month on reserve in my preferred base (KFAT) before getting a line. I never had to fly-commute to work. We’ll see if that still holds true when I ready to upgrade.
