Default Need Atp written done before application?

Is the ATP written needed to be complete before interview or before start date if hired? Submitted my application but no ATP written yet.. working on it ASAP.

The company should send you to CTP to get the written done prior to starting training.

In hiring requirements it states:

"Current ATP written (company covers cost of ATP-CTP for successful candidates)"

so this reads to me written required then they send you to ATP training for the check ride?

Contact the recruiters to confirm that.

I didn't have a current ATP written exam, and I didn't receive a CJO after my interview. No TBNT email yet, so there's still a chance...

You can't even take the written without the ATP CTP course completed, which they pay for.

If you get CJO, they send you to ATP-CTP as others have said. ATP flight school will send you a link for Sheppard Air so you don’t have to pay for it.

Yep you go to Dallas for the ATP-CTP course provided by ATP Flight school. It’s 8 days. The course and hotel is paid for by Compass, however, you are not paid for your time there.

4 days of death by PowerPoint, then 3 days of sims. A few hours in a Crj 200 FTD, then more time in a level d A320 or B737 depending on what’s available (the most fun of the whole course). The hotel we were at has “food” every night along with 2 drinks for the airline folk. Keeps you sane while studying shep every single night after being forced to stay awake through the PowerPoints.

You take the written on the 8th day then fly to MSP for orientation then back home for two weeks of home study.
