That makes total sense, I LOVE IOCC

My hate of IOCC is real, however I think this dates back to FLICA and is in the CBA, I think.

5 requests per month. After that, they're automatically rejected.

Can you still email trip trades?

Don't think its trip trades. Wouldn't it just be crew scheduling? I imagine you can email them, but I'm not sure what their response would be if you're asking for more than 5 partial drops.

It's trip trades. Though they are CS. Same people just different emails.

It is indeed in the CBA - 25.4.d.2. You can always email CS, but I’d be very surprised if they were to help you out. Maybe if it benefits them, too, but don’t hold your breath.

Maybe a dumb question - but just making sure before I pick up a worthless overnight. If I take a partial from something in open time and pick up a SAN overnight where day 1 is just LAX-SAN and day 2 is SAN-LAX, that's still worth 8 hours, correct?

Yep! Those are kinda nice if the layover is cool..

(warning: *cool story bro* material)...

Sometimes it's nice doing the 12 hr layover since you get most of day 1 and day 2 off as long as we're not Junior Manning people so much that we might as well all be on reserve.. Otherwise if you got something you could/would be doing in San anyway, it's nice talking that morning flight and having all of day one to kick it in a cool city. Last time I picked a trip like that up, another one posted for critical a few hours later, couldn't believe it. Anyway, yes it's 8 hrs.
