It would be awesome if we get the planes, but where would we fly them put of and what would our new base be?

The day UA announces those planes are going to anyone but us is the day I put my apps in to every passenger and cargo airline in the USA...including OO.

Delta is dropping us in 2020. I don’t plan to be one of the several hundred CPZ pilots on the street fighting each other for employment.

Those UA jets are our company’s last chance

I have seen what happened to this place when we lost 6 jets. 7 months, no upgrades, no newhires, and no vacancies.

You have to have been here since Jan 2017. That’s two and a half years for crying out loud. And you got another year before the Delta flying may or may not be renewed. You OUGHT to have apps out to most of the majors. And if you are content with a regional, OO will give you year for year credit for 121 time. And there are plenty of regionals begging for street captains, if you don’t have the TT yet to be competitive for a major.

The sky is NOT falling.

Why would UA give them to anyone but their brand new wholly owned regional, who they just bought a E175 training department for. Expressjet has them in the bag.

Even if not them, Skywest.

If not Skywest, even if we bag the contract, Mesa will under-bid us 9 hours before we ink the contact, just like they did in 2016.
ExpressJet is not wholly owned. ManAir owns them and flight safety owns the 175 sims..
