Any regional with enough lifer captains that when you're waiting to upgrade, you realize, "aw, ****, I should have stayed at Compass."

Actually, upgrade is soon, bud! And I have a military pension and a side business to worry about. I like my 17 days off a month. You sound bitter and very defensive. Are you jealous of other regionals, and or, where you are at in your career? I find a lot of pilots are disgruntled. I’m very happy where I’m at...BTW even company executives and recruiters on the side have told me that they don’t think compass will be around for more than 3 to 5 years.

FYI I served my country for 20 years. I have no ego to prove. I don’t need United or Delta to show me the man that I am. I’ve seen things across the world that I wish you’d never see. I’m at piece with myself. I’m happy as a regional Capt at 90k a year. Good luck with your major life. You’re better than me, okay? :-)

But hey! Thanks for your opinion :-) Certainly entitled to it!

Nah, I'm good where I am, dude. You just sounded an alarm over nothing. Your second 121 training was easier than your first one? Well, of course it was.

Want to warn people about how cold MSP is in the winter? That's more on track.

Well, sir. It seems like you are not a good reader. You missed the entire point of the post. It had nothing to do with my personal success. It’s my reflection on the training style of two separate regionals. I will repeat. It was my observation on how two different airlines train their initial pilots, which I determined one was better than the other for a new hire 121 pilot. I hope that clears things up. Again, MY OPINION!

Had nothing to do with my personal success. Oh, and btw. My second initial was on an entirely different aircraft, so there was no direct assistance from compass for my “second initial.” I chose to do two type ratings

Don’t drink too much kool-aid. We all could be out of jobs at some point. Glad you found yourself at “peace” with your new carrier!

Anyone who believe that an initial type rating on one jet and then doing a second one 6 months later isn’t helped by the first experience isn’t thinking clearly. But more to the point, why did you go to one regional for less than six months, quitting while still on probation, only to change to a second regional? And if your intention was never anything but a ‘legacy regional,’ why did you pick Compass to begin with. It’s a gain experience and move on regional, not a regional lifer place.

Hahahaha... don't tease? Don't make jokes? Don't post memes? Are you lost homie? This is the CP thread you're on. Know your audience, you're gonna get jokes on here.

Don't like it, stay out of our hood. Or learn to take a joke. I'd think after 20 years of military you'd have thicker skin.

these were my thoughts exactly! after reading his posts seems obvious why he didn't stick around long at CP. he sounds like he is a better fit at his "Legacy Regional" flying the 9.

Compass wasn't my first choice, but you never say no to a job, especially coming out of the military. I went to another carrier to have a career, better pay and quality of life AS PREVIOUSLY STATED. GEEEZZ I hope you read your approach plates and GOM better than you do this. Also because compass wont be around much longer. Better gain seniority now than later. What else was asked?? Hmm I LUV this now.MORE MORE MORE.. this is becoming fun.

Recently turned down an offer with a major due to its junior domicile and quality of life. AGAIN, IF YOU READ EARLIER, YOU'D UNDERSTAND!

Skywest is much better of a carrier than Compass in many ways. Skywest have 5000 pilots and own their own airplanes. It's almost impossible to get rid of Skywest when they're flying for 4 major carriers. OPPOSED to little ole Compass, who has 700 pilots and DON'T OWN ANY of their aircraft, can be out of service in a week. Geezz Mesa at least owns some of their own planes haha

Oh, and to the "thicker skin guy." ONCE AGAIN YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO READ. I never took insult. I'm correcting your adolescence and millennium attitude. Was trying to share an opinion and have a professional conversation, but since you guys won't, lets have fun!
