Truth about Compass Training
#73
A few months ago, in a dark dark place in NYC, a Skywest jumpseater asked to catch a ride to ORD on a DL Conx flight. When the Captain asked "who do you work for?", the reply was "mainline". Upon inspecting his documents, it was a Skywest pilot. A legend was born.
I think it would have been posted on he TOTD thread, but that was before it was called "Major TOTD".
An actual photo of Skywest Mainline:

He/she/they cry like someone with shiney jet syndrome who would use a phrase like "that E175 is a sexy plane'', couldn't hack CP training, washed out, and is mad that he/she/they can't move to the west coast and instead gets to be based out of some sh*thole out station in the NE. All this in the name of staying on his/her/their sexy 175.

Youll find some of that mindset regarding separation of a good, wholesome group at LEGACY Skywest, and those dirty union boys and girls at express jet.

Actually, upgrade is soon, bud! And I have a military pension and a side business to worry about. I like my 17 days off a month. You sound bitter and very defensive. Are you jealous of other regionals, and or, where you are at in your career? I find a lot of pilots are disgruntled. I’m very happy where I’m at...BTW even company executives and recruiters on the side have told me that they don’t think compass will be around for more than 3 to 5 years.
FYI I served my country for 20 years. I have no ego to prove. I don’t need United or Delta to show me the man that I am. I’ve seen things across the world that I wish you’d never see. I’m at piece with myself. I’m happy as a regional Capt at 90k a year. Good luck with your major life. You’re better than me, okay? :-)
But hey! Thanks for your opinion :-) Certainly entitled to it!

source: compass was my first 121 program and 'hard' or 'difficult' are never words i'd use to describe it.
