I don't hear anything other than my chewing on snacks and first class meals. I think the pilot group will be okay, if not I'll take my credentials and go try and fly an Airbus. Which with my qualifications, will probably end up being the Santa Barbara Airbus.

Republic going to move their pilots out here? Or why not just take on the type rated pilots that are already here...

The YX rumor mill is in hyperdrive right now, but the gist is BB has been pretty vocal at HQ that he doesn't want to do any more growth by acquisition, hence long, tenuous, and expensive SLI's a la Midwest/Frontier days. Any growth will come through bidding/buying the flying/equipment, not acquisition and thus avoiding said SLI. Ultimately daddy Delta holds all the cards, but something is definitely brewing. New planes are coming next year, and he's also said over and over these planes will be growth. I'm not buying anything until I see it.

Not that Republic COULDN’T do it, they definitely could. Doubt they could do it any cheaper though, which is one thing, and another is that within three years I think the best of the Compass Delta flying is going to be done by Delta A220s in any event. It would be a lot of effort and expense for something likely to be largely replaced before you could ever payoff the startup costs.

But time will tell. Roll them dice...

Oh boy more rumors. I am most disappointed to of learned Disney debunked the disney airline rumor.

Yeah, it's definitely in the works.. They leaked it too early, and now they are back peddling to avoid anti-trust issues with a Disney - Compass merger... Rumor is, Disney approached Hulas about Compass but he would only sell all three airlines. Disney sent him a blue ray of Frozen with a note:
