Comair guys with questions for Compass guys
As you all must know, Comair has been shopping in the second hand store, and picked up Compass's old CEO.
This guy seems to be positive, be it cautiously, but what can Compass guys tells about him?
Is he really a team player?
How did he treat the unions?
Was Compass only successful as a wholly owned because Northwest wanted it to be, or because he made it happen?
Anything you can give us on your experience would be great as we prepare for CEO # 5 in as many years. We at Comair need some positive change, I hope this guy is it.
Thanks in advance!

Did they already announced to Comair that he will be the new CEO?

From my experiences with him in the past year, i would label him as a nice guy. He always respond to your concerns, most times within minutes of emailing or calling him. I have nothing bad to say about him, I was shocked when i got the email yesterday that he was leaving.

I, for one, am shocked that Comair would be getting a new CEO so soon. After all, the previous four lasted so long!
P.S. That was a Borat not-joke.

Bendo is a great guy. Without getting too personal, I can tell you two things about him from my experience.
1. Family is important to him. If you have a concern family related, like problems getting time off for a serious event (weddings, funerals, births) email him and you will get it off every time.
2. He seems to care about his employees. When employees have spoken up about problems or concerns, they have been fixed or at the least- considered.
I am curious though after John B. leaving Compass to move over to Comair if something is brewing that none of us are aware of. This has raised a few eyebrows for sure.

Ditto that. Isn't Comair still wholly owned or partly owned by Delta. If so, why move the Compass President over to Comair?

he was a very nice guy. He personally hand wrote x-mas cards and birthday cards and sent it to our home. We only had 200 people last year for the holidays so not sure if you will expect the same thing.
I have no clue what this means. He will be fair and if you have any questions about rumors you can e-mail him and he will tell you the false one are false and tell you that ones that have merit are being considered. From I have seen over the past year he is a pretty good guy.
Does anyone Tim Cambell?? Our new President
