You wish you flew the "9". You may indeed fly the -900. You XJ guys walking through the hubs with your epaulets upside down and telling everyone you fly the -9 is simply the last visible symptom of SJS. They are awesome jets but it's called a 900, not the -9 unless you are flying a DC-9.

Jesus... can't you all see the guy is flamebait? His posts on all the threads he's on are antagonistic.

Higney - relax man you're still at it with the "9" stuff. You PCL boys have blown it WAY out of proportion and context. Give it up already.

haha. Do little research before you listen to your imaginary friend out there.RAH wants to buy compass b/c of airbus? come on! BB wants to get rid of CRJ to reduce MX cost. why would they want airbus? plus who would relief the clause to operate them? Cheapest pilots? check their pay scale. Its not the greatest but its in the mean level. 10days off?? who the hell do you work for?. It makes me laugh when someone decides to post this stuff b/c they are too lazy to click a button to look some info up.

Eh, FWIW, Compass' certificate is NOT IndyAir's certificate, at least from what I was told in training (at CPS). NWA did indeed buy the ACA/Indy certificate with the intention of saving time by just throwing the E170s on the existing cert, use ACA's manuals, etc. The FAA didn't buy it: they made Compass start from scratch and go through the same cerification process all startups have to go through. Mind you, they still recycled a lot of ACA stuff (including our worthless chief pilot) but the certificate is new. Sorry RAH, no Airbii for you!

For the millionth time, this was ONE XJ pilot...supposedly. Stop saying "you XJ guys". Im a "900" f/o and believe me other than the fact that the DC-9 flown at mainline and pays more than the 900, Im not at all envious of that airplane. And I think I speak for most others at XJ as well. And are we all so childish that NWA guys have to act like you just called their mother a ^&*$% if you slip up and call the 900 a 9? Who cares...call it what you want.

dude chill out, like Tinpusher007 said--who cares what you call it? it's a freakin airplane. we call it the 9 here, other people call it a 90... is that wrong too? and there's nothing wrong with aspiring to fly the 320. i was just asking.
