compass Upgrades??
Hey,
Been doing my research on these boards and have found most of the answers that I have been looking for, but can anyone who works for Compass right now comment on what the upgrade time is for new hires? Flying 135 as a pic in a jet and looking for some info on going 121, so if there is any captains for compass that can PM me that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks |
Right now, noone can say for sure, Mine was only 3 months. I would say realistically maybe 1.1 to 2 yrs, just my idea. Overall its a good company, nothing to complain about on any level, as always you have to stay on top of Scehduling and Dispatch but other than that its all pretty good here.

The fast upgrade at Compass is over. If you can answer, will Delta flow down, will flow up happen, when will the economy begin to improve, will Compass get more aircraft, then, I might be able to give you a wild guess. At present I have moved up 3 seniority numbers since I finished OE in August. At that rate it will be several years before the 62 FO’s now in front of me upgrade and I will have my chance. TZ |
I hope the upgrades come soon. My daughter is starting to like Ramen a little too much

As far as upgrades, even those ppl at the top of the FO list would like to know that answer. There won't be any new hires upgrading for a long time....UNLESS like the other poster said the economy is fixed tomorrow and Delta or NWA starts hiring....even if that happens there will only be about 40 ppl eligible to flow this year. Good luck but I wouldn't leave a paying job right now for anything. |

There will be six upgrades to captain and twelve new hires out of the pool.
That is probably it for the next couple months. Backward motion is just as likely as forward motion. |
