I may have missed a post about this one but I am going to ask it anyway. Recently Compass was at a job fair in Dallas and their website indicates they are hiring (limited). So.... did anyone go? Has anyone actually been hired as a result of this?

12 are in training right now, and I hear there will be a class of 8 next week.

It will be interesting to see what happens if Delta furloughes later this year.

Is the no Furlough clause in only in effect while NWA and Delta are on separate certificates? When will it be one cert?

I went to the fair. My application had been on file with them for months. I was told that my resume would get bumped up toward the top of the stack...but still haven't heard anything.

It has nothing to do with SOC. The no furlough, flowback, and seat trigger is effective now AND after SOC. Which is why its unlikely we'll see furloughs. Never say never but as of now its unlikely, per the union and the company. we'll see
