So is LAX just a temporary base that popped up short-term, or does it look like it will be around for at least the next 5 years (probably pure speculation at this point, but maybe someone out there knows something I don't)?

It appears the Delta is shifting a lot of Compass flying west. Seattle, SLC, LAX. Who knows for certain though.

Just curious, is Compass running classes regularly or is hiring at a standstill. Saw on their website they are advertising the AeroCrew fair, will they be only taking people that attend? Compass is on my radar, 1450tt 1150 turbine multi 121 time, with RATP. Wondering what I'd have to do to get a call.

Still actively interviewing and running classes until April or May. I think I heard about 10/mo after February. Then it'll pick back up in the fall for the next round of flows that leave first part of 2015. That's another 120ish flows.

Have you knocked out your ATP? I did my checkride during the shutdown and got a call within a week. I'm at 1700TT with 1400 of it in the beloved tanker.
