This! It blows my mind how cocky some of their group is. Some folks return the smile but usually I get stared at like I just murderd a baby.

I've always smiled at Compass crews I've yet to get one back. Good thing I don't make judgments on a person or a pilot group based on how many smiles I received.

This is why I keep saying get over yourself. They think SkyWest pilots have it out for them. I walked by my fellow OO pilots everyday and lots don't look my why or smile. It's not the airline it's the person. Some people are just not friendly

If I walk from E gates to B in SLC I can walk by tens of pilots. Southwest, Delta, SkyWest, Compass. Nobody generally says hello in passing unless eye contact is made, and I personally dont go out of my way to stare at pilots faces to exhange a "sup" head nod in case they look back. Do you think if you saw a SkyWest guy and said hello he would blatently ignore you? Seriously everybody drop the teenage girl passive aggressiveness.

Why would anyone expect to be smiled and waved at all day every day? Thats too much work especially at an airport. Just do your work and go home! It drives me nuts. If you expected less you would be much happier.

Geez I'm sick of reading this already. If you want someone to give you attention, get a dog.

We all represent the same thing and I'd like to think we work together and not apart. Agree with this 100%. I used to fly for Great Lakes and saw Skywest all the time in Denver. Would give a courteous hello and get no response. I thought it was because I was in a Lakes uniform. Now Im in a Skywest uniform and have gotten the same response. I don't think it is a snub, but I understand how it could be taken as one....or maybe I look funny :)

haha, I love how crazy defensive you guys get sometimes. You do care btw. Your reactions to all of these posts about us getting more west coast flying proves my point.
