As a Skywest pilot, I don't care who flys what. The only flight I care about is the one I am doing, and that's only until I block in. With few exceptions regional flying is the same, no matter where you go. 11 hour overnights guarantee that most of the time between flights is basic human needs, beer, food, sleep. Now get back into that Q and go where you go!

Inaccurate re: Endeavor. They have to meet yearly goals for the SSP (as flawed as it may be) and EtD. Starting next year 35% or 300, which ever is less, of Delta new hire classes come from Endeavor. They are taking 6/month through summer then 15/month in September to catch up to the yearly goal. Not sure what it is though, but it is more than 1 per year as you say.

Anyone know how many classes they are running in June, July, and August and what the sizes are going to be?

I just started one the 12th. And I think one more next week. A couple more in August. I think about four scheduled after mine from now until about Sept.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm new to the forums here and I have an upcoming interview with Compass.

I'm surprised that they actually called me for an interview as I have a little over 1,000TT and 60Multi. However, I do qualify for the RATP and the recruiter said that Compass will be accepting it soon because they cannot afford to lose too many people to Skywest or Express (His exact words).

Anyway, I'm a little worried about my interview (I guess that's normal right?). But I have no 121 experience and I have very limited knowledge on jet engines ect. I have passed my ATP written, but I used sheppard air so it's not like I learned too much from that. I have been reading several interview gouges for Compass and have found that most of them talk about the 3 computer tests that you have to take and pass. The one that is stressing me out is the knowledge one. Apparently it is 60 questions in 60 minutes and you do not get the aid of a calculator.

I was wondering if anyone could lend some advice on the interview, or offer some examples of the best ways to prepare for it? Best texts to study ect. I really want to do well and I really would like to get offered a job at Compass. They seem to be (in my opinion) one of the best regionals (if not the best) to currently work for.

Thanks!

What's going on with all the hiring of restricted ATPs Compass is doing? Isn't that a direct violation of our 1500hr contractual mins? I havn't heard anything about the union coming to an agreement with the company about this. Management seems to just be doing whatever they feel like lately and not caring one bit what the CBA has to say about it.
