You're right. I think people starting class after the first of the year will quickly advance up the FO seniority list, but they surely won't be seeing a quick upgrade. Current FO's on the line line will see 1-2 year upgrades depending on when they were hired-- and they will fill just about off the captain positions going forward. I think after the AA planes get here and the airline is staffed for that upgrades will settle at around 2-4 years, and that's what I expect for people starting after the new year.

With the majors hiring in full swing next year, it wont be 2-4 years. I see it more like 1-2 tops.

Remember we have ALOT of people who won't have 1000 SIC in time.

When is the latest that all of this year's flows have to be released from Compass to move along to DAL?

Any idea how many are left for next year, and when we should get to the senior-most "guaranteed interview" pilot?

I thought I was gonna be one, didn't realize I can count 500 of my mil PIC.
