Starting June 4 Delta will operate 7 of its 8 daily SEA-LAX with mainline aircrafts, a huge capacity increase compared to the current offer (6 E75 + 1 752). DL had resumed this route in april 2013 with 3 daily CR9 flights.

On a separated note, the 7 daily SEA - ATL will operated by the new 739s this summer.

I would imagine this would put a little more pressure on opening a SEA base since the only way to route DL flying out of SEA from the LAX crew base would be through SFO and SAN. Especially since we'll be starting 5x daily SEA - DEN this summer. We could also get crews up to SEA through YVR, BZN, SJC, SMF, PHX, PDX, TUS, and LAS...but our flights from SEA to those stations are infrequent and irregular. But, as others have stated before: within the DCI system, the only constant is change. Time will tell...

Also have to agree with whoever said it before that this is fantastic news that the west coast flying is being shifted to mainline! Hopefully the trend continues

The new Realignment has 20 upgrades in 3 different classes across a 17 day span. Hopefully there will be more upgrade classes in March, after 9th too!
How junior will this one go? It looks like we are already into 2013 hires and less then 15 numbers from 8/2013 hires!

Well considering there were a bunch of 8/2013 hires on the last upgrade award, 9/2013 is completely realistic for this vacancy...

Anyone have the map with the AA routes on it?

Open enrollment will finally start. Looks like premiums went up about 7% for me. :(

It's really upsetting Compass won't even look at you if you don't have a college degree and/or no previous 121/135 experience.

Right now they can be selective. This will probably change as they get to the tail end of the growth. Keep updating and you'll get a call. Also there have been non 121/135 and people with no degrees in class, although they normally have one or the other.
