Healthcare starts 30 days from the first of the following month. I.E. I started mar. 19th. April I didn't have it, but may 1st health insurance kicked in. For a healthy single guy, insurance is pretty good and cheap. For a family I think it is very overpriced. Hope this helps.

Probably, not entirely sure how it work, but I think 20 get to bid every month when they normally would start new hire class, but are held then for 90 days. I think the last flows will be technically be August or September "hire dates" and then will be held back for 90 days.
The people from CPZ who are physically present in the early June DL newhire class would have been the 'March' bid flows. Please correct me if I screwed that up. #mentalmath |

That was my understanding as well. With the 90 day holdbacks, the 'June' bidding flow guys from Compass will physically enter class at the beginning of September.

Do you understand what Mainline Scope and the ATP minimums coupled with low regional compensation is doing to the regional model right now?
To tell prospective new hires to wait for management to announce something that will hurt their careers is terrible advice. You should be advising prospective new hires of the reality of the regional situation so they can make an informed decision and not be shocked when it happens. I don't need to wait for announcements to know they will happen. Just read between the lines and you can make a very good determination about what is happening. http://www.acquisio.com/wp-content/u...redictions.jpg |

I don't doubt the 50 seaters will get parked one day. I just am not all doom and gloom about it! I also don't go out of my way to burst everyone else's bubble so I can feel better about myself! And I don't feel better about myself by bursting someone's bubble. I feel better knowing they aren't being deceived into the realities of this industry. I wasn't the one telling the prospective new hires that Skywest has 2 year upgrades for new hires.

Have some humility and admit you don't know it all, I know I don't. I have been right a lot and other times wrong, but I can't predict everything. Neither can you.
