anyone else find it odd that there are still about 30 more FOs than CAs in LAX? even after this latest award is complete its still showing nearly 20 more FOs. Thought it was usually more CAs if anything else

I'm guessing since a good amount of the extra are still in new hire training.

Anyone knows if the stage checks given on the CBTs for new hires similar to the real test? Also Ive been told you have two attempts at the test. Is the same test given twice? Thanks in Advance!

Same bank of questions but not always the exact same questions on both tests

Good question. I was wondering about the same thing. Also, it looks like the new hires are still coming in, even though the staffing seems to be ok now. I'm not sure how many more planes are coming, but as far as I remember correctly, they were talking about the total number of pilots around 700. We are above that already and the flows are all gone (except the last 10 or so). The recruiters don't seem to be slowing down at all. I'm wondering if they expect above average attrition or what's the reason behind it?
