Lots of roommates. Look at Torrance. Your beer drinking budget will suffer.

Drive for uber and lyft on your days off as needed.

I drive for Uber. Or I should say, I drove for Uber. I did one day. 2 trips. And it doesn't make any sense. I put 76 miles on my vehicle and pocketed $35. Not worth it.

Also. If you get in an accident. And the accident can be someone else's fault, or you blow a tire and hit a guard rail, your car insurance won't cover you. Most big name car insurance companies now have Uber Investigative Departments. You'll be paying cash for your car repairs.

Just be careful and do your research first. If you go into it accepting the risks. That's one thing. But it isn't worth it, IMO. Uber increased the percent they keep, used to be 20%. Now it's 25%. Then they lowered fares to gather more riders. Very greedy company.

Uber now provides insurance coverage while your drive app is on and for each specific ride. Also some big name insurance companies are providing drivers specific policies to cover you. So there are options and coverage.

I was consistently making $100-160, minus 30 to 50 in gas and projected maintenance, per day when driving for both uber and lyft recently. So for first year pay it can make a difference. It can be long hours and although most people are cool you do get some strange individuals. Not a long term solution but it could give someone some breathing room.

You drove 1 day and now you're an expert Uber driver? Sure there are bad days but there are also days where Uber is profitable. I drive mostly peak times in south FL and I average $30 an hour after I take gas and maintenance costs out of the equation. The key with Uber is to not drive around empty. After your dropoff do not drive around empty, find somewhere nearby to park until your next pickup. Uber is not a business that will make you tons of cash, especially full time, but it is the most flexible part time job any regional FO could ask for.

If you click on the "your path to the majors" banner it still takes you to the $10k signing bonus page...

Where can I find information on how to get a parking pass for not one of our base airports? Such as a reimbursement or whatnot, I figured it would be on the Intranet but can't seem to find anything.
