Won't matter they'll probably still try fit 32 flights into 30 gates in any given 5 minute period.

But Southwest won't be the only ones to get "Reverse Approved" anymore.

whats the outlook of this place now? Sometimes wish I would have left my current regional 2 years ago for here but decided to stay but I'm afraid most of the movement has slowed now here.

It seems good, but certainly it has slowed for now. The question is always what's in the future... if you come on now and we grow, you'll be ahead of the huge wave and in a great spot... But we could stay the same size. We could shrink and you'd be first to be out the door... If only there was a crystal ball, right? I think one thing compass has going for it is high attrition due to pretty much every CA trying to move on as fast as possible, and no lifers. That keeps costs down as there aren't 12 year CAs on payroll. We operate a very in-demand airplane right now... if it stays the in-demand airplane, there's the possibility of growth and anybody that can staff right now is in good position to win additional flying. So I think overall the outlook is good.. However we have some threats to the operation as well. There is the possibility that we won't be able to staff, there is the possibility that we could lose Delta flying due to our poor performance numbers or deal with American (or that it would be awarded elsewhere and we will stay the same size), there is the possibility that hiring at the majors will slow down (Seems unlikely but would slow things down here considerably). Our bases change frequently over the past 6 years. The company doesn't honor the contract, and our union is in a rebuilding phase after most of the previous members flowed up to Delta. I can't say whether or not a lateral move is a good career move, the quick upgrade certainly doesn't exist right now (I think if we stay the same size, 2.5-3 years for somebody on property today, shorter only if we get more flying which is a ??.). We also have no special interview or flow should that become important in the future. I can say that I go to work feeling decently compensated, fly with good people, and it does feel like things are happening at Compass and not stagnant. It's a nice airplane and we have pretty decent layovers outside of the 24 hours in Fairbanks. Your mileage may vary... sorry if that's not much help. You have to make the right decision for you. Obviously if you had left 2 years ago you'd be a CA with OK seniority right now, but hindsight is 20/20... past performance is a poor predictor of the future.

1 HUGE bedroom (approx 16 x 12) I currently have a bedroom area and a entertainment/living room area set up in the same room) in a 3br luxury condo in El Segundo. Share a nice bathroom with 1 other. Gated community. 10 minutes from LAX employee parking lot. Nice gym, two pools, hot tub, bi-weekly maid service included in rent, and garage. Two other really cool guys living here. $1250/mo, $1000 deposit, 1/3 utilities (~$50/mo).

I'm able to bid day trips when living here. It's great. PM me for more info and I'll send you a flyer with pictures.

Lol I pay $1600 for a 1 bedroom all utilities included. Thought that was a rip off till I heard this. 10 minute drive time to the airport too.
