First, let's stop the ****ing contest about Brenan or Nettie knowing who I am. Not once do have I been concerned about anyone knowing who I am. Quite frankly, having spoken to both of them on more than one occasion would have me believe that they have better things to do than base their decisions wholly on a web forum as to who they bring in or don't bring in for an interview. If this is actually the case, than a good ole' boys club is not where i want to work anyway. What are we, What is this? The High School playground? If a person can't come into your little clubhouse and ask a simple question without being dumped on by holier than though remarks and assumptions such as the record shows in past requests from others to this thread, then perhaps you all need to take a look inside yourselves also. I will admit that having to bury two friends in the last two days has me a little on edge about these responses but, asking a simple question regarding a job fair should never have turned into this crap. So let's close this discussion now and reflect a little about how we all need to do a little maturing. Thank you.

In case you ever write an email to HR or the hiring pilots you might want to spell "Brenan's" name right. Or get his name correct to begin with.
I don't think Compass is a good ol boys club at all. You've miscategorized this group of pilots. There are a few that were annoyed with your response but we are hardly a good ol boys club.
Perhaps you started off on the wrong foot here...lets talk less about maturing ourselves and more about humbling ourselves. That might be the issue here.

I'm really curious-- you've been asking questions about Compass for the better part of 2 years. I would think anyone trying that long to get hired would already be a captain by now. I mean, you've asked probably 4-6 times about job fairs on the west coast, how easy it is to commute from SAN, if they'll accept your help time, etc etc.

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, I'm just honestly curious. What's up?

Actually Cory, it's irreverent. Just to help you sleep better, I'm not trying to get hired by Compass. Not anymore. Besides, If you were in fact wholeheartedly concerned about addressing any of what you are asking, you would know that a public forum is no place to discuss it.. Forums like this should be used only for questions like, "is Compass planning any Job fairs on the West coast?" You know, the question that started this circus in the first place.
