delta sells mesaba and compass

mesaba to pinnacle...compass to transstates/gojet....so the only delta owned regional is comair?...skywest owns asa.....and the cvg contract with mesa/freedom has been canceled...we will see what happens with republic as there is a alpa violation by them operating aircraft with over 76 seats. these spinnoffs should set the tone for delta placing an order for emb-195...100 seaters to replace the DC-9 fleet and flying them in-house like jetblue, air canada or usair....

Shuttle America, a subsidiary of RAH, only operates 70 and 76 seat aircraft. Republic, another subsidiary, does not operate any Delta flights. What violation of ALPA scope exists? Does ALPA contend that Shuttle America, by way of subsidiary ties, is in violation?
