I get it...this industry has created thousands of habituated pessimists.
They will be the last one's to ever acknowledge a pilot shortage. Thus, they can not be reliably objective about one.

If anyone is still interested in deciding between the two, the CP at Compass announced we will be hiring 40 per month and upgrading 24 per month indefinitely. This keeps our upgrade time at a continuing low.

curious, does anyone know? Does both Skywest and Compass "PIC" Type rate the new hires? or do they just get the SIC checkout?
