is Compass hiring?
 

I went to several job fairs. Am especially interested in Compass because i want to be based in LA.
I left my resume with Compass recruiter. They've said they will call .... but have not heard from them at all. i have received call from Mesa, PSA, Wisc. ...but not from Compass.
Anyone has the recruiters'phone number?

They are definitely hiring. Got the recruiter's contact info? Give them a call, or shoot them an email showing your interest mentioning you've filled out the application etc. Might help.

I think they are slowing things down

40 per month through March then 15 a month after. They may continue with the 40 per month since attrition has been so high.

Did Compass offer a new hire bonus recently ?

Yeah but instead it is replaced by an increase in the first year pay equivalent to the amount of the bonus - except now you get it on critical pay, etc as well, and the company can't just get rid of it when they don't need to hire. So it's a gain.
CPZ is still hiring, but go over your app with a fine toothed comb and make sure there are no errors, gaps in employment, that your hours are listed correctly etc... at this point we will be hiring for awhile just to stay ahead of attrition.

You should realize that everything in this industry is subject to change. Those were numbers I heard back in November when they only planned attrition at 10 per month, but it's been more than double that.

There won't be a slow down. Hiring and training plans change. Attrition is higher than planned so there will be indefinite hiring with larger than planned classes.
I can't believe I'm feeding this troll but an intelligent person who realizes Facebiter is a dumbass and has nothing to do with Compass will see through his ****-slinging.
For those looking to come to Compass, there will be continued and quick upward movement. We have less than half a dozen "lifers" and everyone I know here at Compass is ambitious with bigger plans to move to the majors. And people are moving up to the majors every single month. Attrition is high and moment is happening quickly. Unlike some of the huge regionals you'll see rapid movement up the seniority list.

My neighbors son just called and they advised him they are scaling back hiring due to reduced Delta flying.

No, that's it man. Someone on the internet wasn't hired immediately and my mom's cousins butcher heard it from his stockbroker's dog that we're being bought by mainline Skywest and stapled to the bottom. Never mind the 12 CA upgrades today, might as well start submitting apps today to improve your position ahead of everybody else. We're out to show that it's impossible to succeed even with the cheapest block hour pilot group and the most in demand airplane because getting their hands on our 175s is some fo's wet dream.
