Default SOPs for small flight department. (p91)

I'm helping a friend transition from a light twin into a Kingair and would like to get SOPs set up for his company. I would like to keep them useful, practical and as simple as possible and still cover the basics.
I have used a company several years ago to provide a template but don't think they are still in business. I would welcome a templet, mature input or link to a company who can help.

Thanks in advance!

This is something that the dept will have to be willing to make a monetary investment in if they want a good, solid SOP made tailored for their operation. PPW is a good place to get referrals for this type of service, but I don't think you'll find anyone who will give it up for nothing.
But who knows, you may get lucky. I hope it works out for you.

I'd use the ISBAO standard as a starting template. If you get it through NBAA it is not that expensive. It certainly covers more than you need, but you can then pair it down to get what you want. Then when the time comes, you've got a good start on a legit SMS and ISBAO compliant document. You don't have to go the audit/accreditation route, but if you decide to do it in the future, you wont be starting from scratch trying to making your documents fit.

I have written several SOPs and FOMs for small flight departments. My recommendation would be to start with a complete manual from another company that uses ISBAO format/standards, and then widdle it down from there. I can send you a word version if you pm me your contact info.
