Default Jet Aviation

The Jet Aviation site has multiple postings for multiple airframes.

Anyone have some inside details on what Jet is like as an employer?
I basically lived at Jet as a client but working for them is a totally different side.

Couple of the gigs allow you to live anywhere near a commutable airport. Any tidbits are helpful.

Thanks

Like with any management company, it all depends on the account. Some are good, some aren't.

The commutable gigs are probably for the Vista Jet account.

Wish I had real info for you, RI, but I know a guy who left the Midwest for an NYC-area job with Jet (forget which account, might be Vista Jet?) a while back. He's flying 3-holers now. At the time, he said it would have been stupid for him to turn down the job based on the salary alone, and that the schedule and QOL were really good as well. AFAIK, he is very happy. But yep, I'm sure it depends on the account.

Thanks! I figured as with any of these gigs that they vary wildly depending on the owner.

I hear Jet as a company isn’t bad to work for.

Not sure my two cents mean much but I was just hired by Jet. So far I am very pleased with how I've been treated. Keep in mind that Jet has close to 160 airframes in the US and your QOL will vary depending on if you are 91/135 and which account you are assigned. For my TEB based position I must reside within 3 hours of the airport.
