I have been out of flying for some time and looking to get back.
I was thinking the CAE SCM program maybe a great option. Anyone has experience with it? What is the interview like? They mention a written assessment and a series of face to face interviews.
Thanks for any info!

It’s a great networking tool and will give you exposure to CRM. After certain sim sessions, you are qualified for a free SIC rating on the program you are assigned to. Pay is very low but most people do it for reasons stated above. Which location are you close to?

DFW location. Yea I think it is a great program to get back into it without leaving my full time job for now. Please share any insight you may have regarding the interview process (not sure what to review), and hopefully working week-ends and evenings is possible.
Thanks!
Thanks!

If it’s changed then I don’t have a clue what I’m talking about.

The last I heard, 40 sessions =SIC TYPE. 80 sessions =PIC TYPE in medium aircraft (King Air 350, Citation etc.), 120 sessions = PIC TYPE large aircraft, (Gulfstream, Challenger etc.) All sessions must be completed within 24 months.
If it’s changed then I don’t have a clue what I’m talking about.

I heard Gulfstream and Global Express are NOT on that list by the way...
