SJC-BUR. That’s it.
140K with no guarantee to the Gulfstream because they have “years of international experience” i.e. they must be mainline retirees.

They should be careful what they wish as Gulfstreams have lots smaller cockpits and crew rest areas than they are accustomed. I think 12 hr plus legs would get old with no room to move around. That KingAir job is a lot better retirement gig in my opinion.

Not dumping on you all, sounds like a very chill job, but eh where would you live in or near SJC on $140k? Serious question, there may be answer and I'm just not aware of it!

What other company pays 140K for a King Air pilot?

Good Post for the OP!

If you have a spouse that makes decent money. You could have over 200k easily

I just saw a posting on Netflix.com for the King Air in Los Angeles. Does anyone know if you have to live in the LA area ? I live near San Jose but I think they're staffed for SJC. Thanks.

The Netflix KA350 operation has 2 pilot bases: BUR and SJC. You will need to live within a 2 hour drive of your base.
4 King airs, 2 in each base. Expect additional hiring as flying continues to ramp up. Eventually these King Airs will be replaced by something bigger/faster.
Netflix also has 3 x G550s (based in BUR, no SJC base). You can move between fleets as openings are available.

And for what it's worth, pay has gone up (significantly) since the initial start of this thread. Everyone is now compensated according to their experience and how they contribute to the department. (as well cost of living) I would consider this a unicorn 91 gig.
