Default Netflix Job

Anyone have any info on what a job flying for Netflix is like? Specifically their King Air 350, schedule, pay, QOL?
Thanks

Monday thru Friday with an occasional weekend here and there.
SJC-BUR. That’s it.
140K with no guarantee to the Gulfstream because they have “years of international experience” i.e. they must be mainline retirees.

It's a great gig for those looking for QoL and pay. Not including the additional perks and soft money that go with 91 gigs.
Very generous time off/vacation policy that the airlines cannot compete with.
Relocation package available.
Easy schedule, you either fly morning (0630 show) or evening (1630 show), 1 roundtrip.
Based in SJC or BUR, but currently looking to fill SJC.
3 King Air 350s and likely a 4th coming soon. Very well maintained aircraft, clean, low time. Pro Line 21 avionics.
Occasional weekend pick up/drop offs for the CEO and other higher up management types. Rare overnights. If you have an overnight, it's to cover a trip in another base. Our contract pilot list has grown to reduce overnights.
The most challenging part of the job is getting in and out of the flight deck especially if you're vertically gifted.

To add on regarding the excellent benefits at Netflix...

https://benefits.netflix.com/united-states/
Click on the various tabs.

You get up to $15k in health benefits. (In addition to your salary.) If you don't use all 15k, Netflix pays back up to 5k to YOU. Per paycheck. Play with the plans in the link above to see how much you could get back.

We get stock options in addition our salary.

Netflix will pay for your rideshare commute to and from work. FBO in our case. Great way to keep the miles off your car and save a little gas money.

Standard 401k program.

Usual all expenses paid for while on duty. When we travel, you keep the airline miles and hotel points. (Marriott Hilton type hotels).

There is an online Netflix employee store where everything is FREE. You pay nothing. Not even shipping which is quick. Apparel, office supplies, water bottles, coffee mugs, kids stuff, etc.

Your cellphone plan can be expensed or you can get a new phone through Netflix. We are issued an iPad and laptop as well.

Are they crewed or is it single pilot? Alas, is the 5,000 hours firm?

Thanks!

Not dumping on you all, sounds like a very chill job, but eh where would you live in or near SJC on $140k? Serious question, there may be answer and I'm just not aware of it!

Crew

The 5k is not firm. It helps to have King Air time and/or a BE-300 type. We have a couple pilots with less than 5k (but they arrived typed and current). We also have pilots with 8-10k+.

To add, Netflix will type you (if not already typed) and there is no training contract.

Legit question. Yes, it is tough recruiting and having someone move to the Bay Area. A (young) single person would just rent. Anyone else with family would need to make at least 300k combined income to buy a decent home the SJC area with the current inflated market. Otherwise you'd have to try finding a home south of SJ- Morgan Hill, Gilroy- or go east like Livermore, Pleasanton, Walnut Creek. Then you're looking at an hour commute each way.
