Question Seeking input re brake overhaul frequency

Hi all,

Fellow (ex) corporate pilot here. I'm doing some MRO market research, and am seeking your feedback regarding about what frequency corporate turbine aircraft are generally requiring brake overhauls.

I believe most, if not all, aircraft brakes overhaul TBOs are based on-condition, as measured by position of the wear pin. I'm wondering about how many landings/cycles you are getting, and how that translates to calendar time.

Please specify your make/model and whether your aircraft has steel or carbon brakes.

Thank you in advance for any input you are able to provide.

CJ4 approximately 600 landings. Depends on how short the runways you frequent are. The CJ has no T/R’s which also is a factor.

Type of operation, field length, weight, and pilot technique are large factors. I've seen very short use cycles on brake components with some pilots, and very extended ones on others, with the same amount of flying.

Some are brake lovers, others treat the equipment like they own it.

Some operations have little choice.
