Default ProLine4 GPS approach in vectors

In HDG to intercept FAC, is the recommenced technique to place the outside fix in “from” or blue, then NAV, then approach/VNAV when capturing FAC?

thanks

If I recall - we would just extend the centerline off the FAF or whatever point you wanted. L(NAV)/VNAV and go from there.

That was 3 Avionics packages ago so I may be losing it.

i just went DIR TO the FAF (or the fix after your intercept point); make the inbound course BIG by pressing R x button and EXEC.
